Let’s work together to make Davao City a better community:

·        Volunteer some of your time, skills and talents for Sagabay to pursue its projects and achieve its objectives.

·        Consider making a tax deductible gift to Sagabay to help support our efforts to serve batchmates and Davaoweños in need.

·        Contact batchmates to inquire on volunteer opportunities and encourage more batchmates to get involved and improve our networking.

·        Identify local and foreign agencies for fund sourcing and linkages.

About Davao City

Davao City  is located in the Province of Davao del Sur, Mindanao, Philippines. Davao is a 90 minute ride from Manila, 40 minutes from Cebu. It is considered the world's largest city in terms of land area which is 2,443.6 square kilometers. It has an estimated population of 1.6M accounting to 19% of the entire Southern Mindanao region.

Despite its richness in natural resources, Davao’s poverty rate is worsening and the gap between the rich and the poor is widening. To cope with the increasing demand for social services, government and non-government organizations (NGOs) work together to service the populace in need.  But financial resources are scarce and development workers need more help.

Davao is home to a strong network of not-for-profit organizations that work to meet the physical, emotional, spiritual and cultural needs of its residents and community.
